We are looking for enthusiastic future colleagues to join us at the Terneuzen site in the Netherlands.

What can you expect from your experience?
As part of our two-year development program, you will have the opportunity to learn about all facets of Dow’s HR function, experience Dow’s corporate culture, work with the HR Leadership team in Europe, Middle East, Africa and India, and expand your skills through three unique assignments. Upon successful completion, you will become an HR Partner in the country where you started your program.

Depending on your personal preferences and the needs of the company, you will be assigned to three of the following areas:

Talent Acquisition: providing targeted recruiting expertise, programs and processes to attract, select and deploy the best talent.
Workforce Planning: ensuring the right talent is in the right place at the right time.
HR Consulting: providing advice and solutions to employees and managers via phone and e-request.
Talent Management and Learning: providing consultation on employee development and leadership effectiveness, as well as developing and implementing learning resources across the organization.
Mobility: Support and guidance for employees who accept development assignments away from home.
Compensation and Benefits: Provide expertise to develop competitive compensation and benefits practices to attract, retain and recognize talent.
Payroll: capture time and attendance data, apply local regulations and Dow pay practices, ensure timely and accurate merit processing.
Operational HR Excellence: driving continuous improvement through partnerships, applying unique expertise and strategic approaches to meet HR and employee needs.
HR Technology: designing, developing and implementing technology solutions to improve the effectiveness of the HR organization.
Country HR Partner Organization: working with country/site leaders to enable them to effectively lead and support their employees at the local level. Advise on labor relations issues and work with works council at each site.
COE: Develop strategies, design programs, provide internal consulting services, and monitor the effectiveness of programs and policies.

Your skills and qualifications:

Degree in human resources, industrial/organizational psychology, labor and industrial relations, organizational behavior/development, business administration, or a related field
Less than one year of related work experience
Ability to work at the primary location on a permanent and legal basis
Willingness to travel and ability to work in various locations in Europe, Middle East, Africa and India
Fluency in English, with another language being a strong advantage
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A thirst for knowledge curiosity about new subjects
