About you and this role – What you would do in this role

The department that will welcome you is part of the Consumer Solutions Business specialized in the production of Silicones Antifoam, Emulsions and Sealants (Manufacturing department). The objective of the work is to gather/collect information and create procedures to help the Seneffe’ s Site to improve its Process Safety level and reach the compliance programs.

Responsibilities

-Prepare documentation of pressure relief devices useful for calculation notes creation.
-Assess the nitrogen flow rates used in the different production units to identify potential gaps versus the “Nitrogen” standard + procedure creation.
-Identify the manual Emergency block valves available on the nitrogen, steam and natural gas network for documentation.
-Take nitrogen readings (dimensions of emission points, pressure, flow rates, ventilation flow rates, measurement with anemometer….) to enable the creation of asphyxiation risk analysis.
-For each production unit, document safe operating limits, (e.g., temperatures, pressures, flows, compositions), critical inventories.
-List ERPG-3 values for hazardous materials (Toxicity values).
-Identify Basic Process Control Systems (BPCS) Protection function with operational response and document them in the procedures.
