Description de l'offre

About you and this role

We are looking for you, an ambitious Bachelor student, to support our Advanced Elastomers Product Development by doing an internship project to understand the impact of filler properties on application behavior of formulated sealants and adhesives and develop methods of Physico-chemical and rheological characterization of typical fillers for our location in Seneffe, Belgium.

Dow is offering great career opportunities in a global and international environment.
The department that will welcome you support businesses like Building & Infrastructure as well as Mobility & transportations applications. Products are typically adhesives and sealants. Although a lot of hands-on formulation knowledge exists, there are still areas where the function -property relationship is unclear and or not fully understood. The objective of your internship is to develop relevant methods of Physico-chemical and rheological characterization of typical fillers. The final goal is to build mechanistic understanding of how the moisture, the specific surface treatment etc. of typical fillers impact the processability and workability of sealants and adhesives. You will work in collaboration with our technical team based at Seneffe and will engage with other groups in production or technical service. This project will support key applications in the Building & Infrastructure segment.

You have a good working knowledge of English and/or French.
